Our Focus
The Health Through Communications Foundation was founded in 1993 by Dr. Carolle Jean-Murat, MD, a Haitian healer living in San Diego, California.
The HTCF supports community efforts to provide personal development, educational and economic opportunities as well as healthcare access to women and children around the world.
We believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to achieve and enjoy a happy, healthy and productive life.
Medical Care
We provide life-saving medical care for underserved communities internationally as well as in the U.S and Mexico. Our programs include preventive care, outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital support, and a strong focus on women's health.
Art
Our art programs give children a creative outlet, fostering self-expression and positive development. This can lead to improved focus, reduced negative behaviors, and a brighter future for both the child and the community.
